How sustainable is the pace you’re maintaining?
The Power Pause Check-In
You’re getting things done. You’re meeting expectations. From the outside, you may even look as capable as ever. But perhaps you’ve noticed that this takes more out of you than it used to.
-
Your mind stays switched on long after you want to stop.
-
Your energy is less predictable.
-
Small interruptions feel surprisingly demanding.
-
You keep telling yourself you’ll slow down when things settle, but somehow, they never quite do.
The Power Pause Check-In is a short, guided reflection designed to help you notice how your current pace of work and life may be affecting your energy, clarity and performance.

Is this you?
Perhaps you’re still performing well, but increasingly recognise that:
-
You open your laptop already tired and rely on momentum to get through the day.
-
Your working day has no clear edges — particularly when you work remotely.
-
You find it difficult to switch off mentally, even when work has stopped.
-
Breaks, meals, sleep or downtime are often the first things squeezed when there’s too much to do.
-
You’re carrying a lot — projects, deadlines, people, family, practical responsibilities — and rarely feel completely “off”.
-
You know your current rhythm isn’t ideal, but you’re not sure what to change without dropping the ball.
You don’t need to be at breaking point for your current pace to deserve your attention.
What will the Check-In tell me?
The Power Pause Check-In invites you to reflect on 12 simple statements about how you’ve been experiencing work and life recently. It takes just a few minutes.
There are no right or wrong answers, and this isn’t about giving yourself another performance score. Instead, your responses will lead to one of three reflective profiles:
Holding It Together
You’re functioning well, with some early indications that your current pace deserves attention.
Running On Reserve
You’re still delivering, but it may increasingly be discipline, responsibility and momentum keeping you going rather than sustainable energy.
Capacity Under Strain
Your current demands may be exceeding the capacity you have available, making it important to pay closer attention to what you need now.
Your result is intended to give you a useful starting point for reflection — not a label.
Take a Power Pause
For the next few minutes, you don’t need to solve anything.
Simply notice.
Answer based on how things have been recently, rather than how you think they should be.

What happens afterwards?
You’ll see your personal Power Pause profile as soon as you complete the Check-In.
If what you read resonates, I’ll also give you some thoughts about what may be worth paying attention to next.
And if you’d find it useful to talk through what you’re noticing, you’ll have the option to book a conversation with me.
No pressure. No obligation to work with me. Just an opportunity to explore what might support you.
